My artwork

Just decorated my bedroom and needed some artwork for the walls - couldn't find anything I liked so whilst I was at the NEC I bought some canvasses and here is the finished work.

I gave the canvasses 2 coats of a chocolate brown paint and then I used string for the decoration. I stuck the string on with my hot glue gun - boy it hurts when you touch it!!!!!

CD with a twist

Been messing about with my alcohol inks again!!!!!

The top picture is the back of the CD this has an ATC attatched to it

The bottom picture is the front of the CD and has a tag attatched.

Triangular Dominoes

Found these dominoes in our loft this weekend. They had been there for 6 years!!!! So I thought I would see how they looked "altered".

Christmas Diptytch ATCs

Here are 2 diptytch ATCs. The top one is made from a Christmas card and embellished with crystal stars.

The bottom one is also made from a Christmas card but this time the houses have been made 3D also crystal stars have been added.

I have used an old Christmas card and some ribbon with a christmas greeting on it.

So while I have been having fun making this, I have also been helping the environment too with a spot of recycling.

Faces Fat Page Swap

These were made for a swap on Lots to do.

The criteria was brown/green with a face.

Gave me a chance to use my new inks and also my glimmer mist.

9 - 4 - 9 Christmas Swap

Thought I would try some layering of paper for this swap on the Lots to Do forum.

I cut some Christmas trees and added a few pressies.

Altered Ribbon Box

This was a gift from a friend made by her son.

I altered it using tissue paper and glued it on in small pieces. I then glued on some paper flowers and cut out some alphabet letters and stuck them on.

Glimmer Mist

Here is an ATC using glimmer mists

I used walnut gold and olive vine

I really like these mists - I think I feel another spend coming on.

Alcohol Ink ATCs

Seems like ages since I made any ATCs so thought I would make some with alcohol inks on the silver card and once again I am really pleased with the results.

Christmas Dominoes Swap

Here are some more dominoes - this time its a foam domino and a bone domino - a Christmas theme for the lots to do forum

Thought I would cover them with mulberry paper - the larger foam domino has christmas table confetti on it and a happy christmas peel off

The smaller bone domino has a christmas tree peel off

Crafty Individuals Swap

This is the first time I have made an ATC with a matching tag!!!!!!

These have been made for a swap on the Lots to do forum - crafty individuals items have had to be used.

Also included in this swap was a diptytch ATC

Cross Stitch Birthday Card

This is my first attempt at cross stitch for quite a few years!!!!!

It was made for my mother in law !!!! Hope she likes it

Altered Foam Dominoes

First I primed them with gesso and then used acrylic paints - I added peel-offs for the finishing touches.
