Here are my entries for this months Lottery draw - all were made using distress inks and then stamped with some of my favourite images.

Things with wings

We have a monthly fat page draw on the Lots to do forum. This months theme has been set by Hilda - she chose "Things with wings"

I chose a butterfly decoupage, a stamped and decoupaged image of a bird from Crafty Individuals and finally Tilda made an appearance

Bookmarks

Here are some distressed bookmarks - I used distress inks and then stamped some of my favourite images with stazon.

Around the world - Italy

Each month there is a swap called around the world - this month the destination is Italy.

I chose the same image for the tag, ATC and Fat Page. I decoupaged the images too.

Birthday card for my niece

Here is a birthday card for my niece - she will be 8 next week. Thought she would like a Tilda card.

Tilda image kindly stamped for me by my friend Andrea and coloured in with sakura pens. Background paper is from DCWV pocketful of posies.

2inch square Mountboard Swap

A while ago I took part in a swap on the Lots to do forum.

The criteria was: Mountboard in 2inch squares (9), autumnal colours.

I loved my returns and wanted to be able to display them. This weekend when I was out shopping I found an 8inch frame - it was ideal!!!!

It had a silver finish so I got my alcohol inks out and dabbed them all over it. The colours I used were teracotta and meadow.

I was really pleased with the way it turned out.

Really liked this swap, wonder if we will do any more?????

Better get some more frames - just in case.

My New Craft Room - Almost

Here are a few piccies of my new craft room - so far!!!!!!

It has been painted and new floors put down. I am waiting for new blinds too and then of course I will want new curtains!!!!!

There are still some things to put in it but I am pleased with it so far - won't be long now before I am crafting in it.

Altered Clock Case

I bought a clock from my local supermarket. I wanted the mechanism to make a clock for a charity auction. The case of the clock was still perfect with no breakages so I just couldnt throw it away!!!!!

I used alcohol inks on the frame and distressed some of my favourite stamps. I added an altered domino and a bottlecap too. I finished it off with an initial "A", put the clear front back on and its ready to hang in my new craft room.

Floral Fat Pages

Here are my pages for a group swap on Lots to do.

The black one is an image of daisies and I just simply added brads to the centre of the flowers.

The green one is a stamped image of a poppy (I think) I coloured the card first with distress inks and then stamped the image, I then coloured the petals with sakura pens. I sprayed glimmer mist on the green card and then added the stamped image to it.

The pink one is an image of a rose simply decoupaged. Matted and layered on black card.

Hope the recipients will like them.

Desk Organiser

I've had this desk organiser from IKEA for ages and never done anything with it, so whilst I had my inks out I used them on it and then added the chipboard letters.

Think this will look great when my craft room is ready.

Money Box

This started out as a watch gift box.

It has a slot in the top and it is perfect for a money box.

I gesso'd the box first and then added my favourite distress inks to it to give it that aged look.

I then added a tag of one of my favourite stamps and once again aged that with distress inks.

I then stamped some images on all of them

I also had some small jigsaw pieces from a christmas cracker and decided to cover the pieces with some photo paper and then aged them in the same way as the pages and tags.

I then stamped just a small part of the images and 3d them in the correct places

Beaded ATCs

Here are some ATCs I have made for a swap.

The only stipulation was that beads had to be used.

The top left ATC is an image of a wedding couple and I have sewn beads into the brides head dress.

Top Right ATC is an abstract image of the ace of hearts. I stuck beads into the heart and added the ce to make up the "ACE".

The bottom ATC is an image of The tree of life by Gustav Klimt. I have sewn beads into lots of the swirls.

After seeing a fantastic altered CD the other day done by my friend Andrea I thought I would have a go.

I think I need to change the colour of the hands though!!!!!

Used Stamp Box

I thought I would make use of this chocolate orange box!!!!

All I have done is firstly take the wrapper off and then collaged lots of used stamps onto it. Finally I added chipboard letters spelling out the word "stamps".

I will use this box to keep all my used stamps in and when it is full I will send them onto my friend Lauren who takes them to her local hospice.

Altered Pencil Box

Whilst out shopping today I happened to go into our local poundshop and I spied this pencil box and pencils. I thought they would make a good altering project.

Paper Mache box

I painted the box with black acrylic paint and then added glimmer mist.

Once it had dried I decorated with peel offs and gems.

Freebie from the pub

Last week my hubby came home from the pub with a pressie for me from the landlady!!!!

She wondered if I could make use of some promotional advertisements.

I cut off some of the card and then covered in a backing paper, then I used distress ink around the edges. I stamped a border around and then stuck a calendar on. Added 2008 underneath. On the reverse I stamped a border and an image.

What do you think????

Ryan's Christmas Card

This is the card I have made for my son this year -

I used distress inks in scattered straw and peeled paint on the embossed edges of the card and then used walnut gold glimmer mist all over it.

I found an image I liked and decoupaged it.

Added a greeting and then coloured peel offs for the message.
